Each sum within the puzzles call for a combination of four common operations. These are: multiplication, division, subtraction and division.

The calculations should be made from top-to-bottom and left-to-right. To make it easier for you to keep track off, we have listed the numbers 1-9 under each grid as these numbers must be used exactly once for the puzzle to be solved correctly. A top tip is to cross off each number as you use it – this way it is easier to keep follow your thinking!

For reference, or to help solve the puzzles, solutions can be found at the back of the book. If you solve all 100 puzzles you are sure to be a mathematical wizard!
